School Holiday Dates correct as at October 2011, but subject to change. __________________________________________________________ Bond After a considerable make-over, Bonnie Doon was opened to guests in 2007. Being an original Augusta cottage (circa 1936), Bonnie Doon was lovingly restored to a comfortable level as a waterfront holiday cottage. All furniture and equipment is new, walls and ceilings freshly painted, floors polished and tableware sparkling. To keep this level of comfort for our welcome guests, a Bond of AUD$200 is required at the time of booking, together with your deposit. This bond will normally be refunded to you, by post, within 10 working days of your departure from Bonnie Doon. Provided there are no breakages, damage to structure, furniture, fittings or equipment and no excessive cleaning is required resulting from your stay, the refund will be in full. Should damage be incurred during your stay, you should contact one of the owners for an inspection. Alternatively, we will contact you if, after your departure, we discover the cottage was not left in a satisfactory condition. Any cost incurred by the owners to replace, repair, or clean their property which exceeds the amount of your Bond, will be charged as an extra. On display within the cottage, there is a register of damage already incurred, which you are advised to view upon arrival. ___________________________________________________________ Cancellations In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your holiday at Bonnie Doon, the following conditions apply: Low Season Up to one month prior to occupancy – full refund of deposit, providing the cottage is re-let for the same period. Less than one month prior to occupancy – no refund will be made. High Season Up to three months prior to occupancy - full refund providing the cottage is re-let for the same period. Less than three months prior to occupancy - deposits are usually forfeited. However, should the cottage be let during this three month period, deposits will be refunded on a pro-rata basis. Every consideration is made in an effort to refund deposits paid by guests needing to cancel.
